Why should I trust your feedback?
I spent 5 years as a Software Engineer at Amazon and Revolut, working on production distributed systems at real scale. I've also sat on the other side of the table — I've interviewed at big tech companies like Uber, Databricks and Google, and received offers. The feedback I give isn't textbook theory; it's what actually gets tested in these rounds, and what worked when I went through them myself.
Are you currently at Amazon or Revolut?
No — this is built on production experience from both, referenced as pattern examples, not a claim of current employment.
I'm not targeting FAANG specifically — is this still for me?
Yes — the patterns (distributed systems, trade-off communication) transfer to any company running production systems at scale.
